Mireya D. Hayne writes children’s books filled with curiosity, imagination and a sense of discovery.
Growing up surrounded by different cultures, stories and languages, she developed an early fascination with the ways children make sense of the world around them. Her books often begin with a simple question — about nature, science, adventure or everyday life — and turn it into something playful, memorable and easy to explore.
Mireya has a particular love for books that invite children to look closer, ask questions and discover things for themselves. Whether the setting is a mountain trail, a busy workshop or an entirely imaginary world, her stories combine warmth, humour and gentle learning without losing the sense of wonder that makes childhood reading special.
When she is not writing, Mireya can usually be found travelling, wandering through bookshops, collecting ideas from museums and landscapes, or making notes for stories that may one day become books.
